'Dead And Wed - The Tragic Love'
A classic silent-movie style film made on a 4-day Easter School for children at Chesworth Arts Farm, Horsham, April 2011. The story for this romantic-horror-tragedy was inspired by the farm itself and written by the participants. All filming, animation, acting and soundtrack creation was also done by the participants with some help from the facilitators: Helen Goodwin, Rosie Holmes and Charles Villiers. 'The Fisherman and The Ifrit Retold'
Charles was music and sound director on a highly sucessful and enjoyable 4-day stop- frame animation summer school for 9-12 year old children. The workshop was held at Chesworth Arts Farm ( www.artsagri.com/site/index.php ) in Horsham and was conceived and directed by photographer and filmaker Rosie Holmes ( www.rosieholmes.com ).
Trotters Rights: The Three Little Pigs Retold
A modern-day retelling of the classic tale. Made by adults on a 2-day workshop in Brighton as part of the Brighton & Hove Adult Learning Festival, March 2010. Workshop run by Rosie Holmes & Janine Boyer. Charles contributed an improvised score.
